A HOME OF OUR OWN!

The Golden Key! It actually works...
The excitement just set in!

Play time!
Our first Dinner as a Family in the House. Panda Express (chineese for the whole family cost less than McDonalds). This will probably be one of our last times eating out for a while.
The boys had to test out the new soaking tub.
Nick was so worn out that he fell asleep in the hallway.

After lots of bumps in the road we are officially home owners! Whoo!!! We closed on Monday August 11th. It is such a relief to know that it is finally over... or should I say just beginning. For us, this is our first home and we are finally going to have our own space. We can put color on the walls and make it our own. It is an exciting time. We stayed the night on Tuesday and none of us wanted to leave. We didn't even want to bring the rest of our belongings. We ate chineese food and the boys took part in our first house warming present, popcorn... A few months ago, our microwave gave way and we haven't had any popcorn to go with our movies since. Thanks for the thoughtful gift, it was the perfect touch to a great first night in our house.

That's so great!! It's so nice living in your own home. Gavin and I have been so blessed to be able to be homeowners... but i'll say one thing I can't WAIT till we can get a house that is not over 50 years old... there are TONS of repairs on old homes.. Enjoy the new space and put some color on those walls :) congrats!

I'm so excited for you!!! It looks like the boys had so much fun--it's even better when they have so much fun they crash and go to sleep.
