Christmas Packages

Boxed Fun!
William and Nicholas enjoyed hiding from one another in the box which held precious christmas gifts. I think the boys had more fun with the box...

Seattle Center

SPACE NEEDLE!My brother & the big needle! Not quite like the Calgary Tower, but great none the less!

A blurred view of Seattle, a night shot.

You would think that after living here for so long (5 years), that we would have made it to the Space Needle before now... We actually didn't even plan to go, but the winter fest, wasn't quite what we expected so... Up we went. It was a great view! Pretty windy, but very beautiful. We set out for seattle in efforts to go the Winter fest, go ice skating, see all of the beautiful lights, ride the classic carousel, and enjoy all the other activities in the seattle center. Unfortunately, the ice skating rink was a little on the small side and was completely packed. So we decided to pass on that. William and I rode on the classic carousel. We walked around, looked at the lights and decided to go up the space needle.

An attempt at a family picture! Nicholas... got to love that character.

An attempt to get a picture with our boys with unlce Blake. Needless to say, Nicholas didn't go for it. Nicholas is no where to be seen. He found a little table that was his size and didn't want to leave it just for a picture.
Trains, Trains, Trains!

Our Nicholas is a train lover, so I wasn't suprised when he loved the little village... It was quite a set up. You had to see it to really appreciate it.

Preparing For Christmas

Visit to Santa!
Finally at 3 years old, Nicholas sat on Santa's lap with out any tears. He was actually excited to sit on his lap. He wrote a letter and dropped it in the box. Meanwhile, William lay asleep in my arms. He sat on Santa's lap but didn't make a peep. With his eyes still closed, he slept right through it. I have to admit it was kind of a nice change from the screaming attempts we made with Nicholas when he was younger.
Making Christmas Cards
Chocolate Covered Pretzels
A few years ago, we received some yummy pretzels from some friends of ours. They were so good, I thought we would attempt them. It was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be. Nicholas was so excited... He went a little over board. Note all the extra sprinkles on the cookie sheet! They turned out great. Good Job Nicholas! William, watching from the sidelines has a snack in hand. What a guy!
